In an effort to assist our community, Keiser University faculty and administration conducted a one day “Train the Trainer” seminar for the 19th Circuit Florida Department of Children and Families supervisors hosted by the Port St Lucie campus. The session was designed provide the supervisors with teaching and learning activities and tools to help them engage their staff and effectively present new techniques and protocols.
The session was presented by Dr. Anthony Berrios, Associate Dean and Robin Shepett, Criminal Justice/Teaching and Learning Coordinator, both from the West Palm Beach campus.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
