KU Graduate School and Online Division Join Fort Lauderdale Campus for Spring Commencement

Keiser University’s Fort Lauderdale, Graduate School, and Online Division campuses will celebrate spring commencement at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 9, at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale. More than 400 students will cross the stage to accept their degrees in front of their proud family, friends, faculty, and campus staff.

The commencement ceremony represents the end of a journey that has included sacrifice and investment for our graduates, as well as for their families. Campus President Rhonda Fuller said. “Our students’ commitment and dedication are admirable, and we acknowledge this accomplishment today. We encourage a path of continued excellence for our graduates in all of their future endeavors.

The student speaker for this graduating class is Sabrina Rivera, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies degree. “I have learned and grown so much in so many different aspects of my life, in my career, and my interests since attending Keiser University.” The valedictorian of this graduating class is Sabrina Rivera who earned Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies degree. The salutatorian, Suzanne Lutz, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.

“We have graduates from coast to coast with a significant number of graduates from the Lone Star State of Texas, even graduates from Nicaragua and Puerto Rico,” Fuller said.

This year’s commencement speakers are U.S. Rep. Ted Deutch and Florida Sen. Perry E. Thurston, Jr.
