Keiser University Jacksonville Campus, the IT Program Department, and the Jacksonville Florida IT Server Group (JAX FISG) recently organized and hosted 2018 IT Pro Camp. It was a free, one-day learning event for anyone seeking professional development, certification, and training.
Catered toward IT professionals, the camp focused on IT technologies such as infrastructure, server administration, networking, security, cloud and virtualization. The camp featured ten tracks with 70 breakout sessions on topics such as cloud and visualization, database administration, project management, PowerShell, networking and security. The sessions also offer an opportunity to earn PDU/CPE credits to maintain technical certifications.
An IT Pro Camp Jr, sponsored by Sidney Moore, Jr. and Boy Scout Troop 723, was also available to introduce coding and software development to children ages 10 and up. The day long camp will also featured drone racing and special appearances by the Jacksonville Icemen and the Jaguar Prowler vehicle.
