March 10th was Histotechnology Professionals Day.  Keiser University’s Orlando Campus recognized students and those in the field who are working hard to improve the lives of patients every day.

Seahawk mascot Skylar joined with students in the celebration which included games, gifts, pizza and cake.

Keiser University offers an Associate of Science degree in Histotechnology which prepares students to work in a variety of anatomical pathology laboratory settings. The program is designed to teach technical and intellectual skills as well as develop individuals with a commitment to quality patient care, a passion for the profession, and continued growth within the field.
