Students from Keiser University and G-Star School of the Arts recently enjoyed participating in the production of a commercial to promote the Keiser University College of Cinematic Arts program by serving as directors, camera operators, still photographers, hair and makeup artists, animators, gaffers, grips, sound engineers, editors and on screen talent.

Led by renowned editor and New York filmmaker Oren Sarch, the group was able to learn additional “tricks of the trade” on the top-rated G-Star School of the Arts Sound Stage while refining soft skills such as on set professionalism and etiquette.

“I not only was impressed, but I would not hesitate using these facilities and students on various upcoming projects of mine,” said Sarch.

The Keiser University Cinematic Arts program introduces students to cinematic principles and techniques of filmmaking and video production.  The curriculum provides students with an understanding of film and video history and production, including foundations of story, script analysis, editing, directing and cinematography.  To learn more, please visit the Cinematic Arts program.
