Keiser University Lakeland campus Anatomy and Physiology Instructors Dr. Scott Moore and Dr. Joseph Powell recently collaborated with Crime Scene Technology Instructor and former Chief of Police Brian McNulty to teach Introduction to Forensic Anatomy students in a whole new way.

The Forensic Investigations program students took turns observing, dissecting and documenting animal autopsies, and afterward wrote a narrative describing what had occurred as part of their class project. “This is a valuable and tremendously unforgettable way to comprehend and familiarize oneself with a lifeless body and gets them used to the ‘gore’ factor of some crime scenes,” said McNulty.
