The Lakeland campus is honored to have received a generous donation of a 30-foot flagpole and an American flag, for installation on campus in order to honor the men and women who have valiantly served their country.  This donation comes from Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society through a patriotic outreach program to not-for-profit organizations.

Woodmen Life representative and Army veteran, Neal Roberts, Recruiting Sales Manager and Financial Representative, spoke during the ceremony about how Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society is one of the largest distributors of U.S. flags and has donated more than 2 million American flags and presented them to worthy non-profit and community organizations.

Members of The Keiser University Lakeland Chapter of the Student Veterans of America, Lawrence Alspaugh, Kevin Evans, Christopher Lipps, and Yaritza Alicea-Mercado assisted during the ceremony with raising the flag, while members of the staff performed the national anthem. Many thanks to the staff and faculty involved with making this event a huge success.
