Lakeland’s Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) students had the opportunity to “get their feet wet” with an hands-on field trip to an aquatic therapy facility. One of the campus’ employer partners, Lakeland Regional Health invited the PTA students to tour their facility, as well as observe and participate in an aquatic therapy treatment led by a certified aquatic instructor who is also a PTA.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
