What is a PA?

Physician assistants work as part of a team to practice medicine with collaborating physicians and other health care providers. Physician Assistants are nationally certified and state licensed.

Here at the Keiser University Physician Assistant Program, we strive to put “student first” philosophy into practice every day!

The Keiser University Physician Assistant (PA) program maintains high quality faculty to help students become caring health care providers and learn the material necessary to prepare for future careers as PA’s. Learning takes place in classrooms, laboratories, and in clinical sites where students can get real life, hands-on educational experiences. Keiser University and the Keiser University Physician Assistant Program are committed to providing students with the skills necessary for successful employment in the health care setting. The institution and the PA program offer quality academic and career education in a setting which allows for personal attention.
