Denise Strandell, Instructor Radiologic Technology and her students joined Melissa Kennedy, Instructor Advanced Adult Health and her Nursing students in a Trauma Simulation. The victim was a 22 year old thrown 20 feet following a motorcycle crash. The students were able to learn how to communicate and work as a team. The radiology students were able to practice positioning and placement of the films. The nursing students learned the full trauma assessment, identified all simulated injuries and provided appropriate treatments. This was an exciting collaboration.
