Students from Nature Coast High Technical School visited the New Port Richey campus.  They started their morning with breakfast being served by KU staff members and then broke out into groups to visit various classrooms.

 

Students visited Medical Assisting where they looked through microscopes at blood samples.  The held simulator babies and learned about all of the opportunities for them in Nursing, including medical IT opportunities.  The Criminal Justice instructor spoke about multiple different agencies they could use a CJ degree to work in.  Diagnostic Medical Sonography faculty spoke about sound waves and all of the different diagnosis that can be made to save lives using sonography.  The Business Administration instructor kept things fun in his classroom making students laugh as he inspired future business movers and shakers in the community. Students seemed very excited about all of the different opportunities that await them at the New Port Richey campus.
