West Palm Beach Nursing and Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) students learned first-hand how important it is to work together in the healthcare setting. The PTA students took on the task of teaching the Fundamentals of Nursing students in understanding the concepts of patient positioning, transfers, and assistance with ambulation aides. They shared their knowledge about patient safety by physically demonstrating each skill and allowing nursing students to practice. Faculty responsible for this collaboration included Kenneth Amsler, Mae Yahara, and Regina Schuett.
