The Nursing program at the Sarasota campus offered a boot camp for simulation. Senior students had the opportunity to mentor and coach new nursing students in the development of essential nursing skills. The boot camp experience was supervised by nursing faculty to ensure students met the objectives of the day.
“The boot camp is a great experience and I only wish we could do this every day,” said Richard Sharpe, a student nurse in his second semester.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
