The Jubilee Center of South Broward is a soup kitchen, food pantry, and social services agency meeting the needs of the hungry for more than a quarter of a century. During the holidays, the Center also provides Thanksgiving baskets filled with all the trimmings to families with children whom they fear will not have a Thanksgiving meal.
The Online Division tasked each department to fill a basket for a family with all the items needed to make a delicious Thanksgiving meal. A total number of 16 baskets were filled for a family in need that included items such as a sturdy foil pan to roast the turkey, a gift card to purchase the turkey, stuffing, gravy, vegetables, corn muffin mix, and much more.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
