Keiser University Orlando campus Histotechnology students recently enjoyed applying their academic knowledge toward practical competencies as they rolled up their sleeves at Keiser University’s fully functioning training lab.

Under the leadership of professors Komal Gada and Renee Cabral, the group applied the various skills they learned to be successful in the profession including microtomy, staining, embedding and lab safety methods.

By mastering these abilities, Histotechnologists become “Disease Detectives” who help pathologists identify and diagnose various patient conditions and illnesses.
