Orlando’s Student Services office hosted a Professional Development Conference for students and alumni. The event was comprised of 38 industry professionals from local, regional, and national companies. The representatives from these organizations conducted mock interviews, critiqued resumes, and presented workshops on “How to Ace the Career Expo” and “Getting the Interview”. The conference was developed and coordinated to help prepare participates for the real world and the Spring 2017 Career Expo.
Both events were a huge success and 99.9 % of the surveys from employers and students exceeded expectations in all categories. Professional development certificates were given to students/alum that participated.
