The Psychology Club and Beta Xi Theta, a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa joined forces to bring students at the Miami Campus an opportunity to paint and have fun before final exams. The event began with an overview of the benefits of using art to relax and stimulate creative thinking.  Afterward the participants were lead by a local artist, Miss Wanda Garcia, on how to create a mandala. Students, faculty, and staff in attendance also learned how to blend colors to express feelings in their artwork. At the end of the activity participants reported to feel happier and more relaxed. All participants were able to take their finished products to display at home or work.
