Open House at the KU Clearwater Campus offered information and fun activities for families who attended. Community partner Pinellas County Animal Services held pet adoptions, and the animals got a lot of attention from participants. Another community partner, Orange Theory, offered our students and guests special membership opportunities and raffled off a one-month free membership.
Faculty also spiced up the event by highlighting their programs on “Project Boards.” Students in the various programs created the boards for their classroom, and it was a great tool to educate guests about the various Keiser University degree programs.
The Student Government and Student Veterans of America assisted with tours, which was a great way to show off the campus and answer questions from potentials students and parents.
