Physical Therapist Assistant students at the Melbourne campus are enjoying the gait analysis lab. Students studied walking gait patterns as well as running gait patterns. During the walking gait analyses, student examined strides, steps, and cadence of each classmate. The running gait analyses were used to identify osteokinematic changes that occur while running. For the running gait analyses, students were recorded then examined in slow motion using HUDL Technique software. After the gait analyses lab was completed, students discussed the finding, causes, and possible treatment options to correct any abnormal gait patterns. #StudentsFirst #Keiser40
