The Port St. Lucie Speech class visited our partner school Savanna Ridge Elementary. Each student brought with them children’s stories as well as an engaging activity to lead with their classrooms. Our students then stayed and volunteered for the rest of the school day. The purpose of this trip is to teach our Speech students the value of being able to present to multiple audiences and develop a servant-like leadership style. We are big believers in community involvement on the Port St. Lucie campus, and each Speech class works to volunteer and give back to our community each month.
