The 3rd Annual Keiser University West Palm Beach campus’ Blue Line 5K recently celebrated the men and women of law enforcement and public safety while supporting scholarships for Keiser University Criminal Justice students and Police Academy recruits.
Nearly 200 people participated in the event. Keiser University students and faculty were joined by community friends, and nearly 80 law enforcement officers from throughout Palm Beach County, including many from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The event coincides with other community law enforcement appreciation and memorial events that include a First Responders Golf Tournament at Banyan Cay Resort and Golf on June 3, 2018, and the 2018 ASIS International Law Enforcement Memorial Awards and Luncheon that will be held at PGA National on June 8, 2018. All of these events help to celebrate the men and women in law enforcement and public safety who serve our community with distinction.
Keiser University is proud to support these initiatives, and to help our students in Criminal Justice, Crime Scene Technology, Forensic Investigations, and Legal Studies participate with community partners on public safety and service initiatives that benefit our community and develop a future generation of public service professionals.
