Larry Scott, an incoming Keiser University freshman has gained 1.7 million social media followers on the TikTok platform and attributes the popularity to authentically supporting others. The Jupiter High School graduate who will major in Sports Management regularly gains millions of social media views as he shares reactions and comments to a variety of videos.
“There is so much negativity going on, that I just want to be that ray of sunshine,” said Scott, who looks forward to playing on the Massimino court as a Keiser University Seahawk basketball player.
“It’s ‘NICE’ to have a member of our team to be able to bring so many smiles to so many faces, especially during times like these. Within college athletics, it’s very important to build camaraderie through motivation, encouragement, and even humor. There is a huge possibility that the only fans at games to support you are the teammates next to you, so I am looking forward to Larry Scott bringing this energy and creativity to our team,” said Basketball Coach Marcus Bryant.
“Never be afraid to just be yourself and try new things. Block out the people who doubt you because God made you the way you are for a reason. You have a purpose in life so it’s important that you go and find that purpose no matter what,” smiled Scott who is open to opportunities as he further develops his music and refines his moves on the court.
