“My name is Christopher Wilkey and I’m a student at the KU Tallahassee campus. I want to give you all a little bit of information about the Radiologic Technology program and what this school has to offer not only you, but everyone in your community.

The RT program has offered me many job opportunities and modalities such as mammography, CT, MRI, bone densitometry and other things galore. There are also wonderful allied health programs at this university for the MA and nursing programs as well. I specifically chose the RT program because I am good with people and I enjoy being out in the public, working in the hospital setting. My clinical rotation has been wonderful with all the different facilities here in the area.

On a personal note, as a student of KU, I have held office at this campus in the SGA, Leadership Distinction, and work study programs. When I first started at KU, I initially thought it was going to be difficult. However, it has turned out to be the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. The staff is courteous, well informed, able and willing to help you not only during class, but after class as well. I’ve had lots of instructors that took the time to go over things with me after class if I didn’t understand. They genuinely want you to be a success.

Going to college, everyone has a similar mission in mind – to make a difference in your life, and your community. I believe KU will help us all make a difference.”
