The Tallahassee campus participated in the very first Leon Works Career Expo. As an educational partner of the expo, KU-Tallahassee was out in full force displaying several academic programs of study to over 500 high school students and members of the community. It was an amazing experience for KU to meet and greet with our community’s future nurses, therapists, technicians, paralegals, and chefs. The expo included mock job interviews, resume writing workshops, presentations on professionalism, and a roundtable discussion from educational institutions in Leon County. The community had direct access to over 80 vendors offering career opportunities in healthcare, hospitality, legal, and trade industries.
