The Writing Studio at the Tallahassee campus distributed free pens to celebrate the National Day on Writing. Universities across the country celebrate the event on October 20, the date selected by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE). This year, students and faculty members were invited to the Writing Studio on October 20 and 21 to fill out a short prompt about writing and receive a free pen. Over 80 people from departments across campus participated in the event.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
