The Tampa campus utilized Skype technology to host Attorney Thomas Folsom, Senior Staff Attorney of the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida, Alachua County, who provided the Criminal Justice and Paralegal class with a brief discussion about his background and area of expertise. He provided details of several key court decisions and compelling cases he personally worked. Mr. Folsom then took questions from Professor C. Picart’s Criminal Procedures class. The virtual conference lasted over an hour and was a highly interactive with a compelling exchange that certainly had students engaged in discussion about the inner workings of our Judicial System.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
