Tampa’s Biomedical Science students had the opportunity to hear two Postdoctoral Researchers from the Moffitt Cancer Research Center.  Dr. Paul Stewart and Dr. Kristin Scott visited Keiser University in Tampa to share with the Biomedical and Biotechnology students information on the research they are conducting in the cancer field. Dr. Stewart presented a breakdown of what bioinformatics are and what careers are available for people interested in this growing field. Dr. Scott described her research conducted in cancer cell lines and further explained to the students the road to becoming a PhD in this field.  The students learned about careers in research, as well as how bioinformatics impacts current research.  Additionally, Moffitt Cancer Research Center was introduced to the future medical researchers here at Keiser University in Tampa.
