William Wallace, MS, Ph.D. candidate and scientist, at Applied Science and Performance Institute (ASPI) gave a presentation to the Associate and Bachelor Sports Medicine and Fitness Technology students at the Tampa campus.  His presentation focused on performance analysis through technology in the field of Sports Medicine. ASPI is one of Tampa’s major externship sites which focus on athletic performance using the best analyzing technology in the field, sports nutrition, research, and training.  Our students were informed about the current research study that Wallace is conducting regarding muscle fiber recruitment.  He also lectured on Neuromechanics (biomechanics, neuromuscular physiology including motor unit recruitment and activation).
