Five high schools from the Treasure Coast recently toured the Port St. Lucie campus. Martin County, Jensen Beach, Treasure Coast, Fort Pierce Central, and Fort Pierce Westwood High School’s medical academies participated in hands-on activities in programs such as nursing, medical assisting, radiologic technology, sports medicine & fitness technology, biomedical sciences, massage therapy, and dietetics and nutrition. The students enjoyed visiting the classes and sharing stories over lunch. Skylar was spotted several times hanging out with the high school students.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
