Flagship campus valedictorian Stefan Zecevic credits Coach Rollie Massimino along with professors for both his athletic and academic accolades. The 4.0 finance major, who also plays as a forward for the winning Keiser University Seahawk basketball team, will be leading students in this year’s ceremony.

“He’s not only a good basketball player and a great student, but he’s a wonderful young man who is going to be very successful. He often puts things that he’s done behind the guys so that they can understand what it takes to be successful, and that’s what it’s all about,” said Massimino of the Serbian native.

Zecevic shared that he benefits regularly from Massimino’s before and after practice motivational speeches in which he uses life examples to illustrate how to achieve success both on and off the court.

“Stefan’s academic and athletic success story exemplifies our ‘students first’ philosophy, as it takes both intellectual excellence and hands-on mentorship opportunities to succeed within the world of business,” said Flagship Campus President Dr. Gary Vonk.
