As Keiser University celebrates Women’s History Month, it is pleased to congratulate West Palm Beach Campus President Kimberly Lea for her community leadership role.

A recent recipient of the Central Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Woman of Worth (WOW) award, Lea was recognized for her professional excellence, service to the community, and for the strength and enrichment she provides to the area by helping to advance its educational interest.

“My ten years at Keiser University have provided me with a network of leaders who are always willing to offer guidance and sometimes just an ear to listen,” said Lea. “I am thankful to work for an organization which values hard work within a context of support and growth for individuals.  Locally, the team I work with at West Palm Beach is connected and positive, which makes our days go by very quickly. I have learned as much from our successes as I have from our challenges,” she said.

As Lea enjoyed the award presentation, her daughter Ellie cheered her on, as well as several Keiser University faculty and staff members.

“Each day, we are able to help students transform and grow through education.  Helping people navigate obstacles to achieve a goal not only changes them, it betters all of us!  As much as I like meeting our new students, there is no better day than graduation, when all of the challenges have passed and we are able to celebrate the milestone together.  I am also very thankful to Dr. and Mrs. Keiser who have been kind and supportive of me along the way.  They are great examples of smart and capable leaders who care about people,” she added.
