Occupational Therapy Assistant students attended a workshop sponsored by the Alvin Dubin Alzheimer’s  Resource Center.  Students shared resources and learned from presenters, including Dr. Mabel Lopez, Neuropsychologist. Students also heard their OTA Program Director, Marcia Hamilton, MSHS, OTR/L speak about meaningful activities to help organize loved ones with Alzheimer’s and strategies to help caregivers with body mechanics, fall prevention and stress reduction. Hamilton serves on the Advisory Council for the Alvin Dubin Alzheimer’s Resource Center.   The Alvin Dubin Alzheimer’s Resource Center also serves on the Fort Myers campus’ Advisory Board.
