Keiser University Lakeland was one of five local colleges invited to participated in the 2nd annual Rally the Spirit Food Truck Rally on September 10th. The Rally was hosted by the City of Lakeland, the Chamber of Commerce and the Lakeland Downtown Partnership. The event which began last year is an opportunity for the City to welcome back students and kick off the new school year. Mayor Howard Wiggs addressed the students and provided each school a Proclamation for the event. The Presidents were invited on stage as each school in attendance was recognized.

Diane Mihyu a Dietetic and Nutrition student represented Keiser University on stage by performing “Phantom of the Opera” and “Feeling Good”.
