A small group of the Lakeland Student Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery attended the 2016 Enterprise Connect Expo at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center in Orlando. There were many vendors (Microsoft, Cisco, Avaya, AT&T, etc.) present for the students to enjoy product presentations from and the students also attended a research session entitled “Key Mobile Technologies for the Next Five Years”. Our student chapter attendees learned a lot about mobile technologies, convergence, and unified communications.
