The Occupational Therapy Assistant class celebrated the culmination of their program in the pinning ceremony. It was truly a special event for all those involved. The SOTA students’ talents really excelled as their combined efforts made this pinning ceremony an extraordinary event. The theme for their ceremony was “Be the Change”. SOTA members and graduates, Danica Rodriguez and Lindsey Morales went above and beyond to apply their creative talents and love for occupational therapy to this special event. Thanks to special efforts from our Campus President, Mr. Kidd and his administrative assistant, Maithe Curbello there was a butterfly release commemorating the loss of an exceptional student, Alexandra Severe.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
