Need help with what to do with all of your leftover corned beef from St. Patrick’s Day? Sarasota’s Center for Culinary Arts has a suggestion –

Garde Manger Class Corned their own Beef this month. After the hard work they got to enjoy Home Made Rubens.

Recipe:

  • Corned Beef
  • Sauerkraut
  • 1000 Island Dressing
  • Swiss Cheese
  • Rye Bread
  • Butter
    • Create 1000 Island Dressing by mixing homemade Mayo with tomato paste, chopped B&B Pickles, and minced hard cooked Egg.
    • Thinly slice corned beef and swiss. Lightly butter and toast rye bread slices.
    • Layer Corned Beef onto bread and top with kraut, cheese, and then dressing.
    • Place another slice of bread on top and griddle until warmed through.
