Surprisingly enough, many elite golfers suffer from different physical injuries and ailments that effect their golf game.  Of all the injuries golfers suffer from, lower back injuries are the greatest disabler.  Exercise Leadership class students finished their semester with the golden opportunity of designing and implementing a core workout session for the university’s College of Golf students.  Each student developed and was instructed on exercises for two stations; the golf students progressed through each station learning new techniques to enhance their personal level of fitness and to educate them on injury prevention.  The training session proved to be a hit for students in both programs as they came to respect the demands of each other’s chosen field.
