The Lakeland campus is always looking for ways to embrace the community and bring new faces to the campus. The community involvement is even better when it brings back old faces as well. Recently, the Lakeland campus hosted a photography workshop on Portrait Photography. The presenter was Lakeland graphics graduate, Anthony Sassano. Almost two dozen local photographers attended the event which coincided with the campus’ March open house.
Anthony Sassano is currently employed as the lead designer at Tinsley Creative and also runs his own photography business. He was previously employed as the Creative Director for Focus Magazine in Plant City and helped launch the magazine’s web presence and foray into video. Anthony also gives back by serving as an organizer with The Lakeland Shooters Photography club and serving as an active member of the advisory board for the Graphics Arts & Design program at the Lakeland campus.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
