Keiser University Orlando Campus Exercise Science and Sports Medicine and Fitness Technology students recently gained insights relating to the creation and implementation of strength and conditioning programs, courtesy of Head Coach Tim Crowley of the Montverde Academy.

While sharing information about contemporary technologies used in the field, Crowley relayed some of his athletic training experiences, as well as the process of creating and implementing therapeutic programs. He then led the group through a series of functional movement exercises while demonstrating how some technologies are used to enhance athletic development and recovery. Crowley then highlighted successful graduates who have become professionals and still visit and use the facility while serving as inspiring role models for the many high school athletes in the field.

“This is the second year we have visited the Montverde Academy. The fieldtrip was a fun and informative experience, and particularly rewarding because our first Keiser University student has just completed the Montverde Academy externship program this semester and was then hired as their Assistant Strength Coach. We look forward to a growing relationship between our institutions,” said professor Stefane Dias who’d led the event.
