Like many recent Keiser University healthcare graduates, Sindy O’Neil has embarked on her career full speed ahead. The 2019 Miami campus Associate of Science in Nursing program alumna is now employed at Jackson Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse serving neuroscience intensive care unit patients.

The Weston, Florida native credits Keiser University’s faculty members and rigorous practicum along with her employer’s inclusive training program for providing  the skills and confidence necessary to promote safety, health and wellness during the COVID17 pandemic.

“Choosing Keiser University was the best decision I ever made,” reflected O’Neil. “I left Keiser with more than a nursing degree, as its faculty members and thorough practicum program provided me with the hands-on experience, guidance and knowledge that I’ll take with me through every phase of my nursing career. As a new graduate it’s been a blessing to land my dream position,” she smiled.

Keiser University’s Associate of Science degree in Nursing prepares students to practice professional nursing. Professional nursing involves the performance of those acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and nursing skill based upon applied principles of biological, physical, psychological and social sciences.
