The College of Chiropractic Medicine, located at the West Palm Beach Campus, held its second White Coat Ceremony, welcoming 14 new chiropractic medical students to the chiropractic profession.

Students received their personalized white coats and recited the Oath of Professionalism in the ceremony.  White coat ceremonies are held by about 95% of all professional healthcare programs, and the tradition was started in 1993, when Dr. Arnold Gold, a New York neurologist, founded the Gold Foundation for Humanism in Medicine – to emphasize the dual responsibilities of professionalism and humanism in healthcare.

Also in attendance at the ceremony were many local chiropractic physicians who play a vital role by hosting our students in their private practices for clinical observation right from the first weeks of the first semester of the program – a unique feature of Keiser’s Doctor of Chiropractic program.
